Huning’s Highland Photography (More Photos Added 3/22/24)

While walking I saw this colorful, dilapidated house. There are many houses in this old Albuquerque neighborhood that are federally registered.

As I only had my 12mpxl Samsung S22 phone that is what I used, meaning to come back later with my full-sized landscape camera.

Here is the photo, the colors intensified:

Anyway, I went back a couple days later and, just as I arrived, some workers were pulling down the porch. I missed it!

So, this image file will just have to do.

Here is another version, the colors enhanced and image ‘posterized.’

Infrared Black & White

The lens flare is on purpose and I tweaked the color so the photo looks like an old color photo from the 50’s or 60’s.

This ‘tiny home’ is only 25′ deep. I wonder if the owner has to sit outside to extend his legs?

This house has unusual decorations. You can barely see the owner watching me from inside the porch.

Looks good as a B&W

Another Neighborhood Church. This one is well cared for.

  1. That would have made one hell of an amazing Halloween Haunted House. ;) But now it’s just a memory…

    1. It is protected by the Historic Registry plaque you see by the door. They are just rebuilding the porch, and the entire house needs refurbishing.
That ratty porch roof made the shot!
